Sometimes you'll be having deep conversations with people about dreams that will never come true but with hope in every word. Don't let that happen. Dreams do come true. Hope is a dangerous thing, Hope can drive a man insane. Top things in life in order: Health, Family, Spirit, Money You will lose people once your school is over. Some people are not worth anything. You are enough, you are lovable, you are lucky, you are just who you need to be. Your competition is you, from yesterday. Image
Gentlemen, we all have goals, dreams and plans for the future. And it's obvious that to achieve those goals, to make those dreams come true and those plans to work accordingly, we have to make it certain that we are preparing for them and our actions are directed towards them. I'm 19 and you may have already guessed it that I have A LOT OF GOALS and since I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I've been learning on how to have that silver spoon . So allow me to share 5 tips on how to be one with a silver spoon, specially if you're 19. Even if you're not 19, these advices work well on any age. 1.  SMART Financial Goals: "I'd totally want to be an architect and build the most iconic rennaissance house for meself, but the problem is I have no knowledge about architecture. But it's a dream and dreams come true." This goal sounds just as not having this goal in the first place. The dreams we are having, the goals that we set, should be SMART

Consent

Image
"Consent", is not just something that happens to be a word. It's a word that should be taught and understood well in every society, specially here.  Doing something without someone's consent can be considered as an offence to that person. Consent is the root of many things that are in existence like partnering up in business or regulating an organisation of some sort like schools, corporations, government, or we can take personal things into prospect such as choosing careers, goals, interests, etc. In a sense, democracy is based on consent. In political philosophy, the phrase consent of the governed refers to the idea that a government's legitimacy and moral right to use state power is only justified and lawful when consented to by the people or society over which that political power is exercised. So you see, even the law wouldn't work if it is not consented by the people.  So in a way, doing something without someone's consent would be illegitimate for

The Not So Powerful Power Of Compounding

Image
What is Compounding? Compounding to basically put it, is making your money earn you money. How? Compounding is the interest calculated on your initial principal (a sum of money) and also on all the accumulated interest it earned from previous periods. For instance, let's say you deposited at the start of the year Rs. 100 into your account which provides you an annual interest rate of 3%. By the end of the year, you'll have Rs. 103. For the next year, you'll earn interest on that new sum Rs. 103. The Power Of Compounding "Compound Interest is the eight wonder of the world. He who understands it earns it, and he who doesn't pays it." Compound Interest is a miraculous thing. It creates a chain-reaction by earning returns on your returns if and only if your money remains invested. Let's see a practical example. Here Earl opts for interest compounded annually, whereas Carl opts for interest calculated as simple interest. Particulars Earl  Carl

How Fear And Anger Give Birth To Evils

Image
How Fear And Anger Give Birth To Evils Fear can be a very misleading unpleasant emotion. It can lead people to take irrational decisions and harm themselves and others. People in fear are vulnerable, are easy to be controlled and manipulated. This exact thing is what figure-heads exploit. Let's go back to 1939, when Germany was dealing with the Versailles Treaty signed in 1919, a year later the end of World War I. The embarrassed German people were blamed for the cause of war and they had to bear the loss and compensate in entirety. They were already struggling from diseases, poverty and unstability. They were in fear for their economy, for their livelihood, for their identity in the world. They were angry, mad and frustrated. They wanted to vent their frustration. But at what? at whom? and how? Then came into power the greatest of evils, Adolf Hitler. Hitler blamed the Jews, blamed their presence, blamed them for conspiracies. The Germans, who already treated the Jews in their soc

We, The Blind "Nefolis"

Image
We, The Blind "Nefolis" We say we love our country. We are very much proud about our independence, our sovereignty and our rich history, the oldest country in South Asia, the brave and ready-to-die-for-the-country people and other crap we say to blind ourselves. But I say we are not independent, we have no pride whatsoever and nationalism is almost non-existent now. Autonomous? We were ruled by Ranas. Oldest south Asian country? We were nothing but small little states fighting against each other till 1769, when someone thought enough is enough and unified all the states. Independent? We buy everything from other countries, and we're solely clinging on China and other developed countries for the kits to fight against this virus. Brave nationalists? We're not the only country with such bravery. This is heart-breaking but we have lost what was once the reason for our pride.  We have lost.   It sure used to be that way. We loved and died for our nation, men, women, childr

Maleficent Minds

Let's say you robbed a bank, and you didn't get caught. No one saw you robbing the bank, there's no security footage, no one called the cops. You were like thin air, GONE. You were anonymous. Do you think you succeeded on your endeavour? Yes, if you're never going to use that money. No, if you're using the money. You'll get caught, not immediately necessarily, but eventually, because you didn't know how to use the illegal money you came into possession of.      You need to learn how to clean your money, in other words "launder your money". You have to show that the money came from legal sources so you can use them the way you want to. I'm going to simplify the art of money laundering to you. To simply put it, money laundering is to conceal the true illegal source of obtained money, typically by using various banks, businesses and investments. Money laundering consjsts of three steps – i) Placement ii) Transformation and iii) Integration. i

Alpha

Image
Alpha     A few months ago I stumbled upon something that would change my life, something all of us need to learn, something that needs to be taught everywhere, something so old yet so evergreen. That "something" is Stoicism. Stoicism is an ancient Greek school of philosophy founded by Zeno of Citium, in Athens. Stoicism is a philosophy teaching disciples to endure hardship, pain and struggle without any emotions or any complaints. Stoicism, in my opinion, is the right thing to learn to take control of yourself. Zeno of Citium      You may ask what's Stoicism got anything to do with being alpha. We will get there, I'm just laying out the foundation to explain how I got myself into being "Alpha". What Stoicism taught me was to stay calm, stay cool at every given situation because staying calm is most alpha-like thing a person can do. Not only does staying calm helps you think clearly, it also prevents you from making immediate actions or decisions which might

A Much Needed Skill In Today's World

Image
A MUCH NEEDED SKILL IN TODAY'S WORLD      Have you ever been in a situation where the other person you're talking with just doesn't listen? Have you ever been in an argument where the other person just doesn't understand? Of course, you have and GOD I've been in many. I kept wondering why is it so that the other person doesn't agree with me although I stand correct.      The secret here was, is and always will be listening. Let us think. When was the last time that we genuinely listened to someone? When was the last time that we listened to understand and not to reply? When was the last time you listened with your heart and your mind? If you're like me, then it was probably never. Now with age and experience, I have realized that listening is the wisest, most effective and the kindest tool to use when negotiating or making a point to a person.       It's paradoxical that when you listen more, people tend to listen to you even more. When we listen mor

The Fear Of Mediocrity

Image
The Fear Of Mediocrity     There is something  I fear more than anything. I see it all around me. It troubles me. That thing is mediocrity, or being average. And this trepidation drives me all day, every day, every second and every time. This fear is what pushes me.     An average person lives a very average life. I can describe the lives of such people. There's this man whose name is Carl. Carl wakes up at 9 AM after snoozing off his alarm for the 6th time. He lazily gets up with no motive, freshens up and then has his breakfast and heads off to work. He doesn't want to go to college in the first place, but he goes anyway because that's what the society is telling him to do, because that's what is expected from him by the society. He spends his most sorrowful 8 hours in college, then returns home. After reaching home, he loosens his tie and relaxes on the couch with a beer, hopping between channels. He gets on his social media, watches videos, reacts on memes, stalks
