How Fear And Anger Give Birth To Evils

Fear can be a very misleading unpleasant emotion. It can lead people to take irrational decisions and harm themselves and others. People in fear are vulnerable, are easy to be controlled and manipulated. This exact thing is what figure-heads exploit. Let's go back to 1939, when Germany was dealing with the Versailles Treaty signed in 1919, a year later the end of World War I. The embarrassed German people were blamed for the cause of war and they had to bear the loss and compensate in entirety. They were already struggling from diseases, poverty and unstability. They were in fear for their economy, for their livelihood, for their identity in the world. They were angry, mad and frustrated. They wanted to vent their frustration. But at what? at whom? and how? Then came into power the greatest of evils, Adolf Hitler. Hitler blamed the Jews, blamed their presence, blamed them for conspiracies. The Germans, who already treated the Jews in their society as outsiders, found a new pithole to pour out their anger, fear and frustration. The fear and anger brought by the treaty united the Germans into blaming the Jews, and ultimately massacring around 6 million Jews. May the departed souls rest in peace.



Fear and anger has always been a part of the reason for many misfortunes that have happened in human history. During this Covid-19 pandemic, I worry that the same thing might unveil in Nepal. The USA is already dealing with riots, and plunders in the name of justice for George Floyd. #blacklivesmatter The people are vandalizing public properties. That is wrong, why to steal from stores, destroy cars, vandalize properties? The fear of covid disease, frustration and anger of being suppressed for years have led these people to such commotion.

   

We have been in lockdown for 2 months now. This Covid-19 fear and the frustration because of this continuous extension of lockdown without any proper measures for relief, may take things to a bad place. But I heard that they are easing up the lockdown sometime during this month. Let's hope the government does just that and creates a pool of effective rules and regulations to prevent the spread of the virus. This must be done since our silly government is forcing businesses to pay their taxes within the 21st of June. This makes no sense to me, and I believe it doesn't to you as well, but it is what it is, so instead of complaining I think the economy must get back to work and prevent the economy from collapsing, and unwantedly pay these greedy bastards so that they can buy "1 crore ko galaicha", " 80 lakh ko gymkhana" (of course these obesed donkeys need gyms to workout after all that cramming of citizens' money), "2 crore ko gadi" and for their luxurious lifestyle. 

This pandemic might change our country.

"Consent", is not just something that happens to be a word. It's a word that should be taught and understood well in every society, specially here.  Doing something without someone's consent can be considered as an offence to that person. Consent is the root of many things that are in existence like partnering up in business or regulating an organisation of some sort like schools, corporations, government, or we can take personal things into prospect such as choosing careers, goals, interests, etc. In a sense, democracy is based on consent. In political philosophy, the phrase consent of the governed refers to the idea that a government's legitimacy and moral right to use state power is only justified and lawful when consented to by the people or society over which that political power is exercised.
